Laytora says that she has always loved to bake with her mother and grandmothers when she was younger! However, it wasn't until 2010 that Laytora discovered her true passion for baking after crafting a cake for her brother’s military deployment, which everyone loved! At that moment, she decided that she would pursue her passion for cake artistry.
Laytora started by taking Wilton Cake Decorating courses at Michael's, watching many hours of various cake reality shows, and her skills grew as quickly as her love for the craft. She went from baking for co-workers and family birthdays to eventually taking the leap into baking as a career in 2016.
On a personal note, when Laytora is not baking, she enjoys being a full-time wife/mother, traveling, shopping and her career in Elementary Education as a 3rd grade teacher in Kannapolis, NC.
